Mesoscale Domain Evolution Mechanism during Alternating Current (AC) Poling of Relaxor Ferroelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric domain variants that are energetically equivalent are expected to remain preserved during polarization reversal. However, phase‐field simulations reveal that inclined domain walls in relaxor ferroelectrics can undergo irreversible elimination during alternating current poling through a proximity effect driven by long‐range elastic ...

Maximum Principle for Stochastic Recursive Optimal Control Problems Involving Impulse Controls

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
We consider a stochastic recursive optimal control problem in which the control variable has two components: the regular control and the impulse control.

Linear quadratic optimal control problem for stochastic evolution equations with terminal state constraints in infinite dimensions

open access: yes四川大学学报. 自然科学版
In 1968, Wonham proposed the stochastic linear quadratic optimal control problem.Subsequently, in 1976 Bismut began to study the stochastic linear quadratic optimal control problems with random coefficients.Until 1998, Chen, Li, and Zhou successfully ...

Optimal Feedback Control Rules Sensitive to Controlled Endogenous Risk-Aversion [PDF]

open access: yes
The objective of this paper is to correct and improve the results obtained by Van der Ploeg (1984a, 1984b) and utilized in the literature related to feedback stochastic optimal control sensitive to constant exogenous risk-aversion (Karp 1987; Whittle ...

3D Anodic Alumina Nanoarchitectures: A Decade of Progress from Foundational Science to Functional Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

Dynamic programming principle for backward doubly stochastic recursive optimal control problem and sobolev weak solution of the stochastic Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation

open access: yesFundamental Research
In this paper, we investigate a backward doubly stochastic recursive optimal control problem wherein the cost function is expressed as the solution to a backward doubly stochastic differential equation.

Tough, Ductile, and Strong Hard‐Soft Cementitious Composite Enabled by Multi‐Material Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Drawing inspiration from the layered hard‐soft architecture found in sea sponges, this work establishes a new framework for architected cementitious composites (ACC) through multi‐material additive manufacturing (MMAM) process. The integration of mortar and elastomer phases into layered architectures enables synergistic toughening mechanisms, including

Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.
