Non‐scaled Venn diagram of iron deficiency (ID) according to various definitions and associated outcomes. The prevalence of iron deficiency was high, irrespective of the definition applied. ID defined by TSAT <20% or serum iron <13 μmol/L, rather than the guideline definition, was associated with worse outcomes.

Blood vessels in the ischemic core and peri‐lesion are capable of flow 2 weeks post‐photothrombotic stroke. There are two PDGFRβ‐positive zones within the ischemic core, one which resembles fibrotic scarring, adjacent to a GFAP‐positive peri‐lesion, whereas the other is primarily vessel associated.

Abstract New Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus (NORSE) is a rare and severe condition characterized by refractory seizures in individuals without a prior history of epilepsy.
