Optimum Small Optical Beam Displacement Measurement

We derive the quantum noise limit for the optical beam displacement of a TEM00 mode. Using a multimodal analysis, we show that the conventional split detection scheme for measuring beam displacement is non-optimal with 80% efficiency.

Isolation and optimization of cellulase producing bacteria from Hon Giao pygmy forest soil in Vietnam [PDF]

The cellulase producing bacteria were isolated from the soil of a pygmy forest in Vietnam. Out of 13 cellulase producing isolates, two strains exhibited the maximum clearance zone and cellulase producing capacity and were identified as Bacillus sp.
