AI Hallucinations in Tourism: How Errors Impact Consumer Trust and Recommendation Acceptance

open access: yesJournal of Consumer Behaviour, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is quickly transforming travel planning; however, its outputs can include hallucinations, which are plausible yet false statements that can undermine user judgement. Eliminating hallucinations in GenAI technology is currently impossible.

Dual Artery Compression for Patent Hemostasis and Prevention of Radial Artery Occlusion: The Quebec Terry2 Registry

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Radial artery occlusion (RAO) is a common complication following transradial artery access (TRA). Patent hemostasis is recommended to reduce RAO. Prophylactic ulnar artery compression is a technique to increase the rate of patent hemostasis.

Digital documentation of railway tunnel inspection in Austria

open access: yesCivil Engineering Design, Volume 7, Issue 1, Page 3-8, March 2025.
Abstract Infrastructure, especially railway tunnels, require continuous inspection to ensure their safety. Furthermore, the detection of damages at an early stage can improve their service life. These tasks represent a major challenge for those involved and the tunnel down time is a disruption in operation.

Self‐Controlled Automated Strategy for the Synthesis of Gold Nanorods With Fine‐Tuned Longitudinal Absorption

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
This work proposes an innovative strategy which allows to synthesize precisely tuned gold nanorods starting from nonpurified dispersions with variable aspect‐ratio. The etching process is under direct control and can be stopped at any time by oxidizer quenching, providing stable dispersions.
