Fundamentals and applications of optomechanically induced transparency
Applied Physics Reviews, 2018Cavity optomechanical systems have been shown to exhibit an analogon to atomic electromagnetically induced transparency that a transmission window for the propagation of the probe field is induced by a strong control field when the resonance condition is met.

Photothermally and optomechanically induced transparency in a hybrid optomechanical system
International Journal of Quantum ChemistryAbstractWe theoretically investigated the photothermally and optomechanically induced transparency (PTIT and OMIT) in an optomechanical system filled with quantum dots (QDs). In our proposed system, the right mechanical resonator couples with the optical cavity via radiation pressure, and the left mechanical resonator couples with the optical cavity ...

Vector cavity optomechanics in the parameter configuration of optomechanically induced transparency
Physical Review A, 2016We propose the concept of vector cavity optomechanics in which the polarization behavior of light fields is introduced to achieve optomechanical control. The steady states and optomechanically induced transparency are studied in the vector regime, and we show that the polarization of optical fields may be a powerful tool to identify the underlying ...

Optomechanically induced transparency in optomechanics with both linear and quadratic coupling
Physical Review A, 2018We explore the optomechanically induced transparency (OMIT) of a compound optomechanical system, which contains two cavities and a membrane. Due to the linear and quadratic coupling between the membrane and the cavity, i.e., ${\stackrel{\ifmmode \hat{}\else \^{}\fi{}}{a}}_{1}^{\ifmmode\dagger\else\textdagger\fi{}}{\stackrel{\ifmmode \hat{}\else \^{}\fi{

Electromagnetically Induced Transparency in an Optomechanical System
Chinese Physics Letters, 2011We demonstrate a form of induced transparency enabled by the large gradient force between one optical and two mechanical modes. We tune the frequency of the mechanical flapping mode into resonance with the mechanical breathing mode to obtain the internal mechanical coupling. Compared with all-photonic physical systems, the quantum optomechanical system

We present a scheme for all-optical precision mass sensing with squeezed field in an optomechanical system in terms of optomechanically induced transparency (OMIT). We demonstrate that the splitting of the two peaks of the OMIT, which is almost inverse proportion to square root of the accreted mass landing on nanomechanical resonator (NAMR).
