Warty dyskeratoma of oral mucosa
Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, 1981Abstract A case of intraoral warty dyskeratoma in a 53-year-old man is presented and the literature is reviewed briefly. Warty dyskeratoma of the oral mucosa shares many of the clinical and histologic features of its cutaneous counterpart but may have a different origin and a more variable clinical appearance.

Lesions of the oral mucosa may present originally as macules, papules, nodules, tumours, plaques, vesicles, bullae, pustules, erosions and ulcers. The most common of these clinical forms is the ulcer. Any lesion, irrespective of its original morphology, may become modified to present as an ulcer.
