Pathology of oral tonsils

Abstract The present clinical and histologic study is based on an analysis of fifty-two cases which presented as enlargements of oral tonsils. The majority of these enlargements were caused by benign hyperplasia of the lymphoid tissue, while a minority were due to the formation of a pseudocyst or traumatically induced hyperemia.
