And at the highest, planetary, level of the structural hierarchy of the Solar system dynamical chaos also manifests itself. At the end of eighties—beginning of nineties of twentieth century, first ever estimates of the Lyapunov time of the Solar planetary system were obtained in massive and complicated numerical experiments.

Dynamic closed orbit correction
Proceedings of International Conference on Particle Accelerators, 2002This paper discuss the high speed method of the orbit correction. The speed is affected by many time-constants such as vacuum chamber, magnet, position sensor, power supply controller, and beam itself. The beam effect is the major concern of this paper.

Fibonacci orbits and SU(2)-dynamics
Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 1995Summary: Motivated by an interpretation of the Fibonacci sequence as a subset of the free group \(F_2\), we describe orbits on finite subgroups of SU(2). A prerequisite for the calculation of these orbits is the knowledge of all generating sets of finite subgroups of SU(2).

Dynamic Visualization of Nanoscale Vortex Orbits
ACS Nano, 2014Due to the atomic-scale resolution, scanning tunneling microscopy is an ideal technique to observe the smallest objects. Nevertheless, it suffers from very long capturing times in order to investigate dynamic processes at the nanoscale. We address this issue, for vortex matter in NbSe2, by driving the vortices using an ac magnetic field and probing the

Dynamics, Simulation & Control of Orbital Modules for On-Orbit Assembly
IEEE Robotics and Automation LettersTHE economic benefit of distributed launches is driv-ing the assembly of orbital structures towards modular designs which are manufactured on earth and assembled in orbit [1]. To support the in-orbit assembly, the European Union has commissioned the ORU-BOAS project [2], which considers the deployment of orbital modules to perform life-extension ...

The orbital dynamics of solar sail spacecraft are similar in many respects to the orbital dynamics of other spacecraft utilising low thrust propulsion. That is, a small continuous thrust is used to modify the spacecraft orbit over an extended period of time.

The satellite orbital state must be transferred from the injection orbit to the operational one with a minimum consumption of propellant. In order to define the guidance law to be implemented the optimal control theory must be applied to the orbital equations.
