Availability Analysis of GNSS Signal in High Orbit [PDF]

open access: yesHangkong bingqi, 2021
Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) has the characteristics of strong autonomy, high real-time, high positioning accuracy and low cost, and it has been widely used by ground, low earth orbit (LEO) and medium earth orbit (MEO) users. However, in the

Mission Orbit Design of CubeSat Impactor Measuring Lunar Local [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2017
The current study designs the mission orbit of the lunar CubeSat spacecraft to measure the lunar local magnetic anomaly. To perform this mission, the CubeSat will impact the lunar surface over the Reiner Gamma swirl on the Moon.

Orbit propagation in Minkowskian geometry

open access: yesCelestial Mechanics and Dynamical Astronomy, 2015
A more adequate description of perturbed hyperbolic orbits is found in the geometry underlying Minkowski space-time. Hypercomplex numbers appear naturally when describing vectors, rotations, and metrics in this geometry. The solution to the unperturbed hyperbolic motion is well known in terms of hyperbolic functions and the hyperbolic anomaly.

Multi-Spacecraft Tracking and Data Association Based on Uncertainty Propagation

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
This paper proposed a novel multi-spacecraft tracking and data association method based on the orbit uncertainty propagation. The proposed method makes full use of the dynamic information and thus the data association performance is enhanced.

Geostationary Orbit Surveillance Using the Unscented Kalman Filter and the Analytical Orbit Model [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2011
A strategy for geostationary orbit (or geostationary earth orbit [GEO]) surveillance based on optical angular observations is presented in this study. For the dynamic model, precise analytical orbit model developed by Lee et al.

Precision Orbit Propagator for Low Earth Orbiters

open access: yesThe Journal of Korea Navigation Institute, 2012
Low Earth orbit satellites with satellite navigation receiver use onboard navigation filters for filtering measurement signals and for orbit prediction under signal loss. Precision satellite dynamic models, core of the navigation filter, are studied and a computation program is developed. Gravity acceleration, precision coordinate transform, third-body

Combined effects of crab dispersion and momentum dispersion in colliders with local crab crossing scheme

open access: yesPhysical Review Accelerators and Beams, 2022
In this paper, we present the effects of linear transverse-longitudinal coupling on beam size at the interaction point (IP) of a collider with a local crab crossing scheme, when time-dependent transverse deflection (crab kicks) and dispersive orbit ...
