Super-resolution orbital angular momentum holography
The resolution of orbital angular momentum holography is limited by a fundamental sampling criterion. Here, the authors break the resolution barrier by temporal multiplexing of binary holograms and enhance the resolution and capacity by several times.

Quantum multiplexing with the orbital angular momentum of light [PDF]
The orbital angular momentum, OAM, of photons offers a suitable support to carry the quantum data of multiple users. We present two novel optical setups that send the information of n quantum communication parties through the same free-space optical link.

Orbital Angular Momentum Mode Multiplexer Based on Multimode Micro-Ring Resonator with Angular Gratings [PDF]
We demonstrate silicon photonic orbital angular momentum multiplexing devices based on mulitmode microring resonator. Up to four optical beams carrying different orbital angular momentum states can be selectively excited from different input ...

High-speed acoustic communication by multiplexing orbital angular momentum [PDF]
Significance Acoustic communication is critical for underwater application such as deep-ocean scientific explorations and off-shore industrial controls. This is because other techniques using electromagnetic waves are difficult for underwater applications due to the strong absorption of water. Optical communication, on the other hand, suffers

Spiral Transformation for High-Resolution and Efficient Sorting of Optical Vortex Modes [PDF]
Mode sorting is an essential function for optical multiplexing systems that exploit the orthogonality of the orbital angular momentum mode space. The familiar log-polar optical transformation provides a simple yet efficient approach whose resolution is ...

Multiplexing heralded single photons in orbital-angular-momentum space [PDF]
Heralded single-photon source (HSPS) with competitive single photon purity and indistinguishability has become an essential resource for photonic quantum information processing. Here, for the first time, we proposed a theoretical regime to enhance heralded single-photons generation by multiplexing the degree of the freedom of orbital angular momentum ...
