Orbital Elements Evolution Due to a Perturbing Body in an Inclined Elliptical Orbit
Kozai developed the secular and long period terms of the disturbing function due to lunisolar perturbations in terms of the orbital elements of a satellite, the Sun and the Moon, and applied those secular perturbations to asteroids with high inclination ...

Herein the metal‐to‐insulator transition is investigated when depositing vanadium dioxide (VO2) on glass or aluminum‐doped zinc oxide (AZO). O2 flow tuning during the deposition and additional post annealing are effective to control the metal‐to‐insulator transition. However, the VO2/AZO/glass stack reveals an increase in the transition temperature and

Active Hydrogen for Electrochemical Ammonia Synthesis
This review provides a comprehensive overview of the active hydrogen (H*) for electrochemical ammonia synthesis with particular attention given to the regulation of H* generation and consumption to suppress the competition of hydrogen evolution reaction and enhance the yield, selectivity, and Faradaic efficiency of ammonia.

Mean Orbital Elements for Geosynchronous Orbit - I - Semi-major, eccentricity, and longitude of perigee [PDF]
The mean orbital elements for geosynchronous satellite are developed in terms of non-singular orbital elements. The true satellite position oscillates about the position calculated from the mean elements due to short period perturbations to the satellite

Near-Linear Orbit Uncertainty Propagation in the Perturbed Two-Body Problem [PDF]
The paper addresses the problem of minimizing the impact of non-linearities when dealing with uncertainty propagation in the perturbed two-body problem. The recently introduced generalized equinoctial orbital element set (GEqOE) is employed as a means to reduce non-linear effects stemming from J$_2$ and higher order gravity field harmonics.

Moment Approach for Determining the Orbital Elements of an Astrometric Binary with Low Signal-to-noise Ratio [PDF]
A moment approach for orbit determinations of an astrometric binary with low signal-to-noise ratio from astrometric observations alone is proposed, especially aiming at a close binary system with a short orbital period such as Cyg-X1 and also at a star wobbled by planets.

Covalently‐Bonded Diaphite Nanoplatelet with Engineered Electronic Properties of Diamond
A novel approach to engineering the electronic properties of diamond is reported on the diaphite nanoplatelet consisting of (11¯${{\bar{1}}}$1) planes of diamond nanoplatelet covalently bonded with graphite (0001) planes. The strong sp3/sp2‐hybridized interfacial covalent bonding induces the electron transfer from diamond to graphite, resulting in a ...

Angles-Only Navigation to a Noncooperative Satellite Using Relative Orbital Elements
This work addresses the design and implementation of a prototype relative navigation tool that uses camera-based measurements collected by a servicer spacecraft to perform far-range rendezvous with a noncooperative client in low Earth orbit.
