Astrometric orbits of SB9 stars

open access: yes, 2005
Hipparcos Intermediate Astrometric Data (IAD) have been used to derive astrometric orbital elements for spectroscopic binaries from the newly released Ninth Catalogue of Spectroscopic Binary Orbits (SB9).

NORAD TLE Conversion from Osculating Orbital Element [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2002
The NORAD type Two Line Element (TLE) was obtained from the osculating orbital elements by an iterative approximation procedure. The mathematical model was presented and computer program was developed for the conversion.

Mean Orbital Elements of a Near-Circular Orbiting Artificial Satellite due to the Earth's Zonal Potentials [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 1988
The short and long periodic perturbations and secular perturbation due to the geopotentials of degree J2 and J3 which affect orbital elements of a near-circular satellite are obtained by the analytical method.

Third post-Newtonian accurate generalized quasi-Keplerian parametrization for compact binaries in eccentric orbits

open access: yes, 2004
We present Keplerian-type parametrization for the solution of third post-Newtonian (3PN) accurate equations of motion for two non-spinning compact objects moving in an eccentric orbit.

Asteroids Observed by The Sloan Digital Sky Survey [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We announce the first public release of the SDSS Moving Object Catalog, with SDSS observations for 58,117 asteroids. The catalog lists astrometric and photometric data for moving objects observed prior to Dec 15, 2001, and also includes orbital elements ...

Dose‐dependent induction of epithelial‐mesenchymal transition in 3D melanoma models by non‐thermal plasma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Non‐thermal plasma treatment of melanoma cells induced epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in a dose‐dependent fashion. This report highlights the critical need to further investigate potential adverse effects of non‐thermal plasma for cancer therapy and to optimize treatment parameters for clinical translation. Despite the promising results of non‐

Velocity Curve Analysis of the Spectroscopic Binary Stars V373 Cas, V2388 Oph, V401 Cyg, GM Dra, V523 Cas, AB And, and HD 141929 by Artificial Neural Networks

open access: yes, 2009
We used an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) to derive the orbital parameters of spectroscopic binary stars. Using measured radial velocity data of seven double-lined spectroscopic binary systems V373 Cas, V2388 Oph, V401 Cyg, GM Dra, V523 Cas, AB And, and

PARP inhibitors elicit distinct transcriptional programs in homologous recombination competent castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.
