Silicon‐Based Anodes for Sulfide Solid‐State Batteries: Failure Mechanisms and Multiscale Design Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Silicon anodes in sulfide SSBs face coupled electrochemo‐mechanical failure by interface instability. This review examined recent advances and proposed mitigation strategies via material‐, electrode/interface‐, and cell‐level‐ engineering. We further evaluate scalable synthesis of sulfide SEs.

Discovery of Novel Materials with Giant Dielectric Constants via First‐Principles Phonon Calculations and Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
We discovered novel materials with giant dielectric constants by combining first‐principles phonon calculations and machine learning. Screening 525 perovskites identified six candidates. RbNbO3 was synthesized under pressure and showed ε ≈ 800–1000. This validates our framework as a powerful tool for high‐performance dielectric materials discovery.

Phenotype Expansion of Malan Syndrome: New Cases and a Review of the Literature

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Malan syndrome is an ultra‐rare overgrowth syndrome caused by pathogenic variants or deletions in nuclear factor one X (NFIX) located at 19p13.2. Here, we report a comprehensive literature review and phenotyping of known patients with Malan syndrome and present a novel cohort of eight patients.

Titanium Mesh Orbital Floor Reconstruction Improves Enophthalmos and Hypoglobus Following Zygomaticomaxillary Complex Fractures with Concomitant Orbital Floor Involvement and Isolated Orbital Floor Fractures: A Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yes
Background: Post-traumatic enophthalmos and hypoglobus represent significant complications following orbital floor fractures, occurring both as isolated injuries and in association with zygomaticomaxillary complex (ZMC) fractures.
