Synchronization and Electronic Circuit Application of Hidden Hyperchaos in a Four-Dimensional Self-Exciting Homopolar Disc Dynamo without Equilibria

open access: yesComplexity, 2017
We introduce and investigate a four-dimensional hidden hyperchaotic system without equilibria, which is obtained by augmenting the three-dimensional self-exciting homopolar disc dynamo due to Moffatt with an additional control variable.

Fault Diagnosis for Analog Circuits by Using EEMD, Relative Entropy, and ELM. [PDF]

open access: yesComput Intell Neurosci, 2016
This paper presents a novel fault diagnosis method for analog circuits using ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD), relative entropy, and extreme learning machine (ELM). First, nominal and faulty response waveforms of a circuit are measured, respectively, and then are decomposed into intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) with the EEMD method.

Designing and manufacturing of electric arc furnace currents measurement system in Mobarakeh Steel Company by printed circuit board‐type Rogowski coils

open access: yesIET Science, Measurement &Technology, Volume 16, Issue 6, Page 353-366, August 2022., 2022
Abstract This paper deals with the utilization of printed circuit board Rogowski coils (PCBRCs) for differential protection of electric arc furnace (EAF) transformers in Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC), Isfahan, Iran. Because of a high level of current (in the range of 100 kA) in the EAF transformers in the MSC, employment of differential protection is ...

Improving the energy efficiency of slightly inductive three‐phase three‐wire linear systems through single‐phase capacitors banks

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 16, Issue 6, Page 1212-1224, March 2022., 2022
Abstract Recent low‐voltage, three‐phase distribution networks carry inefficient power, which can be attributed to the reactive power, imbalance of linear loads, and increase in non‐linear loads. Researchers have mainly focused on developing active filters to improve the quality of electrical energy.
