Building a genomic and herbarium biorepository for medicinal plants of the Western Ghats

Medicinal plants support healthcare for millions of people and sustain livelihoods, yet many threatened species lack secure long‐term genetic protection. This study establishes a genomic and herbarium biorepository for medicinal plants of the Western Ghats, a global biodiversity hotspot facing intense human pressure.
