This study assesses the abrasive wear behavior of eight metallic alloys using the SSAB tumbling abrasion test under low‐stress wet grinding with quartz sand and iron ore. Results highlight the role of microstructure—particularly carbide morphology and hardness—in optimizing grinding media for mineral processing applications.
