Flat ideals in unit interval with canonical fuzzy order

open access: yes四川大学学报. 自然科学版, 2018
A characterization of flat ideals in the unit interval with the canonical fuzzy order is obtained with the help of the ordinal sum decomposition of continuous t-norms.

Optimal L ∞ $L^{\infty }$ -error analysis for parabolic systems of quasi-variational inequalities with nonlinear source terms

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
This paper is devoted to the numerical analysis of a system of parabolic quasi-variational inequalities with nonlinear source terms and solution-dependent obstacles. We consider a vector-valued problem defined on a bounded domain and governed by coercive

Hyers–Ulam–Rassias Stability of Nonlinear Implicit Higher-Order Volterra Integrodifferential Equations from above on Unbounded Time Scales

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, we present sufficient conditions for Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of nonlinear implicit higher-order Volterra-type integrodifferential equations from above on unbounded time scales.

Existence of solutions for differential equations systems with p-Laplacian at resonance

open access: yesJournal of Hebei University of Science and Technology, 2017
In order to study the existence of solutions for boundary value problems at resonance with nonlinear fractional differential operator, a generalization of Mawhin's continuous theorem is introduced. By defining suitable Banach space and norm, constructing

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Symmetrization in a Neumann problem

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 1986
Let w be a weak solution of the Neumann problem for a second order elliptic equation in divergence form, in abounded open subset G of Rn . In the case that the right hand side of the equation is a continuous linear functional on H1(G) , we give some ...

Regularity results for Kolmogorov equations based on a blow-up argument

open access: yesBruno Pini Mathematical Analysis Seminar
We present recent results regarding the regularity theory for degenerate second order differential operators of Kolmogorov-type. In particular, we focus on Schauder estimates for classical solutions to Kolmogorov equations in non-divergence form with ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.
