Macroeconomic News, Order Flows and Exchange Rates
AbstractIn textbook models of exchange rate determination, the news contained in public information announcements is directly impounded into prices with there being no role for trading in this process of information assimilation. This paper directly tests this theoretical result using transaction level exchange rate return and trading data and a sample

Magnetic blue shift of Mott gaps enhanced by double exchange
A substantial energy gap of charge excitations induced by strong correlations is the characteristic feature of Mott insulators. We study how the Mott gap is affected by long-range antiferromagnetic order. Our key finding is that the Mott gap is increased

Pinning Effects of Exchange and Magnetocrystalline Anisotropies on Skyrmion Lattice
Reorientation of skyrmion crystal (SkX) with respect to crystallographic axes is believed to be insensitive to anisotropies of fourth order in spin-orbit coupling, for which sixth order terms are considered for explanation.

Order flows and the exchange rate disconnect puzzle [PDF]
Abstract The aim of this paper is to establish the link between the high frequency dynamics of spot exchange rates and developments in the macroeconomy. To do so, I first present a theoretical model of exchange-rate determination that bridges the gap between existing microstructure and traditional models.

Higher Order Beliefs and the Dynamics of Exchange Rates [PDF]
This paper investigates the role of higher order beliefs in the formation of exchange rates. Our model combines a standard macroeconomic dynamics for the exchange rates with a microeconomic specification of agents' heterogeneity and their interactions. The empirical analysis relies on a state space model estimated through Bayesian methods.

The effect of macroeconomic variables on exchange rate: Evidence from Ghana
The study examined the effect of macroeconomic variables on exchange rate in Ghana using a multivariate modeling technique of the Vector Autoregression (VAR) and focusing on impact of broad money supply (M2), lending rate, inflation and real GDP on ...

Sacramental Exchange: Eschatological Economy and Consumption Ritual
Contemporary sacramental theology construes the sacraments as a symbolic gift exchange between God and humanity; God initiates in the ministry of Jesus Christ, and human beings acknowledge and respond to God’s gift.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
