Evaluation of the Victorian Safe Driving Program (SDP) for Hoon Drivers
This study aimed to determine whether the Safe Driving Program (SDP), a behaviour change program ordered by the courts operating in Victoria, Australia, was successful in reducing the offending and crashes by hoon drivers.

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Testing for ordered group effects with repeated measurements
In the repeated measures experiment, testing procedures for ordered group effects are proposed using the likelihood ratio principle. The constrained maximum likelihood estimators of ordered group effects are approximated by the isotonic regression of the

Automorphisms of the ordered multiplicative group of positive rational numbers
We prove Theorem. The only automorphism of the ordered multiplicative group of positive rational numbers is the trivial automorphism. We also give other examples of multiplicative groups of real positive algebraic numbers whose only order-preserving ...

It is not clear how coherent ordered nanoparticles affect characteristics of FCC⇌HCP martensitic transformation in disordered alloys. In this paper, the precipitations of coherent ordered nanoparticles and their effects on the FCC⇌HCP martensitic ...

We first identified functional murine mitochondrial N‐formyl peptides (MT‐FPs) and investigated their effects on the in vitro myeloid‐derived suppressor cell (MDSC) generation from bone marrow cells. We demonstrated that MT‐FPs acted directly on bone marrow cells to promote MDSC generation and modulated the polymorphonuclear (PMN)‐MDSC/monocyte (M ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Induced aggregation operators in decision making with the Dempster-Shafer belief structure
We study the induced aggregation operators. The analysis begins with a revision of some basic concepts such as the induced ordered weighted averaging (IOWA) operator and the induced ordered weighted geometric (IOWG) operator.

Neural Networks, Ordered Probit Models and Multiple Discriminants. Evaluating Risk Rating Forecasts of Local Governments in Mexico. [PDF]
Credit risk ratings have become an important input in the process of improving transparency of public finances in local governments and also in the evaluation of credit quality of state and municipal governments in Mexico.

Shaprly transitive partially ordered sets
We call a partially ordered set Λ sharply transitive if its group of order automorphisms is sharply transitive on Λ, that is, if it is transitive on Λ and every non-trivial automorphism has no fixed points.
