Atomistic Mechanisms Triggered by Joule Heating Effects in Metallic Cu‐Bi Nanowires for Spintronics
Bi doped metallic Cu nanowires are promising for spintronics thanks to the stabilization of a giant spin Hall effect. However, heat resulting from current injection forces Bi to leave solution, forcing segregation into monoatomic decorations which evolve into coherent crystalline aggregates.

New oscillation criteria are obtained for second order forced mixed nonlinear impulsive differential equations of the form (r(t)Φα(x′))′+q(t)Φα(x)+∑k=1nqk(t)Φβk(x)=e(t),t≠θix(θi+)=aix(θi),x′(θi+)=bix′(θi) where Φγ(s):=|s|γ−1s and β1>β2>⋯>βm>α>βm+1>⋯>βn>0.

Positively Charged Polymer‐Brush MOFs for Large‐Area, Pressure‐Resistant Gas Separation Membranes
A universal POPA strategy enables positively charged polymer‐brush MOFs with self‐adaptive interfacial interlocking to resist aggregation under fast processing. This design ensures seamless dispersion within large‐area selective layers, achieving 1 m‐wide roll‐to‐roll fabrication of pressure‐resistant MMCMs with tunable CO2 separation performance ...

On observability of switched differential-algebraic equations
— Based on our previous work dealing with geomet-ric characterization of observability for switched differential-algebraic equations (switched DAEs), we propose an observer design for switched DAEs that generates an asymptotically con-vergent state ...

The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...

Phase‐Pure and Size‐Tunable Tin Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots
A trioctylphosphine oxide modulated protocol allows for the synthesis and study of the optical properties of a broad library of tin halide perovskite quantum dots across multiple A‐ and X‐site compositions with precise size tuning while eliminating unwanted 2D phases.

First-order impulsive ordinary differential equations with advanced arguments
Consider the boundary value problem \[ x'(t)= f(t, x(t), x(\alpha(t))\quad\text{for }[0,T]\setminus \{t_1,t_2,\dots, t_m\}, \] \[ \Delta x(t_k)= I_k(x(t_k))\quad\text{for }k= 1,\dots, m,\tag{\(*\)} \] \[ 0= g(x(0), x(T)), \] where \(f\), \(\alpha\), \(g\) and \(I_k\) \((1\leq k\leq m)\) are continuous functions, \(0\leq t\leq\alpha(t)\leq T\), \(\Delta

Periodic averaging theorems for various types of equations
We prove a periodic averaging theorem for generalized ordinary differential equations and show that averaging theorems for ordinary differential equations with impulses and for dynamic equations on time scales follow easily from this general theorem.

Stacked nanoflake assembly (SNA) membranes can oscillate autonomously, offering opportunities for soft actuation and energy harvesting. This work uncovers the physical mechanism behind the sustained oscillation of SNA membranes in gradient humidity and identifies three governing dimensionless parameters, enabling rational design for optimizing SNA ...

An Observer for switched differential-algebraic equations based on geometric . . .
Based on our previous work dealing with geometric characterization of observability for switched differential-algebraic equations (switched DAEs), we propose an observer design for switched DAEs that generates an asymptotically convergent state estimate.
