Hotspots, trends, and regional focus on oil or gas exploration: A bibliometric comparative study
This paper explores the research trends in global oil and gas exploration through the bibliometric analysis of 3460 articles collected from the Web of Science database on oil and gas exploration published from 2013 to 2023. The research hotspots, objects, regional distribution, methods, and evaluation methods of oil and gas exploration are analyzed and

Evolution of prototype basin and change of tectonic-sedimentary pattern in Paleozoic, Ordos Basin
The Ordos Basin is a craton basin developed based on the Precambrian rift system during Permian. It has experienced two stages of evolution including the Early Paleozoic craton marginal depression and Late Paleozoic intra-craton depression.

The Jenkyns Event (early Toarcian OAE) in the Ordos Basin, North China
The early Toarcian (Early Jurassic) Oceanic Anoxic Event (T-OAE) or Jenkyns Event (~183 Ma) was marked by aglobally synchronous negative carbon-isotope excursion, large-scale organic carbon burial and widespreadoxygen depletion in the oceans. These features have been associated with volcanic activity of the Karoo andFerrar large igneous provinces.

Distribution of Upper Paleozoic Coal Seams in the Southeastern Ordos Basin
The Ordos Basin contains abundant coal resources in the Upper Paleozoic strata. They are shallowly buried or exposed in the periphery of the basin, forming recoverable coal mines and coalbed methane resources. For the deeply buried coal seams of the basin, however, due to complex changes and difficult mining, less attention was paid before.

ABSTRACT Shale reservoirs, characterized by compact pores, poor physical properties, and high organic matter content, exhibit significant differences in microscopic flow behavior compared to conventional oil reservoirs. These distinctions complicate the accurate assessment of shale oil reserves and the selection of optimal exploration and development ...

Linguistic Evidence Suggests that Xiōng‐nú and Huns Spoke the Same Paleo‐Siberian Language
Abstract The Xiōng‐nú were a tribal confederation who dominated Inner Asia from the third century BC to the second century AD. Xiōng‐nú descendants later constituted the ethnic core of the European Huns. It has been argued that the Xiōng‐nú spoke an Iranian, Turkic, Mongolic or Yeniseian language, but the linguistic affiliation of the Xiōng‐nú and the ...
