Key Technologies for Horizontal Well Development in Deep Tight Sandstone Reservoirs
A geological evaluation framework based on well log data clarifies the reservoir's porosity and permeability, establishes a numerical model, and details methods for stratigraphic division, well pattern selection, and well density determination. It also optimizes design parameters for segmented hydraulic fracturing in horizontal wells.

Model construction and implementation of Ordos Energy Super Basin, NW China
Taking the Ordos Basin as an example, this paper proposed that the construction of an energy super basin should follow the principle of “more energy, less carbon, and better energy structure”. The modeling workflow of energy super basin was built.

Upper Palaeozoic gas accumulations of the Yimeng Uplift, Ordos Basin
This paper analyzes the Upper Palaeozoic gas accumulations and conditions of the study area by using the definition and method of petroleum system, and summarizes the natural gas accumulation pattern. The Upper Palaeozoic natural gas in the Yimeng Uplift is mainly from source rocks of Taiyuan and Shanxi Formations in the southern part and Wushenqi area.

LA-ICP-MS U-Pb geochronology of detrital zircons from the Jining Complex, North China Craton and its tectonic significance [PDF]
LA-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon dating and cathodoluminescene (CL) image analysis were carried out to determine the protolith and metamorphic ages of high-grade Al-rich gneisses, named as "khondalites", from the Jining Complex of the North China Craton (NCC).

Lower Paleozoic Sequence Stratigraphy, Deposystems and Paleogeography of Northwestern Ordos Basin, North China [PDF]
The Ordos basin rests upon the North China Block and is one of the largest sedimentary basins in north China, with more than 15 km of Phanerozoic strata. Published estimates suggest that over 2000 m of carbonates and lesser amounts of siliciclastics were
