Energy metabolism in Oreochromis niloticus
Aquaculture, 1989A series of experiments was carried out to study the energy metabolism of Oreochromis niloticus. During starvation the energy loss of the fish was 25 kJ kg−0.8 d−1 (54 kJ kg−1 d−1).
