Organic-inorganic nanocomposites for gas sensing
2016 International Conference Radio Electronics & Info Communications (UkrMiCo), 2016Sensor elements based on composite films of poly-3, 4-ethylenedioxythiophene combined with nanocrystals of porous silicon and zinc oxide were created. Increasing of nanocomposite electrical resistance due to adsorption of ammonia and ethanol molecules was registered.

Transparent hydrophobic organic–inorganic nanocomposite films
Materials Research Bulletin, 2008Abstract Hydrophobic, transparent organic–inorganic hybrid coatings were synthesized by the incorporation of SiO 2 nanoparticles in a matrix of 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPTS) and tetramethyl orthosilicate (TMOS) followed by overlaying isobutyltrimethoxysilane (IBTMS) film for enhanced hydrophobicity. Scanning probe microscopy, ellipsometry

Electrosynthesis of organic–inorganic nanocomposites
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2007Abstract Composite films containing nanoparticles of oxides/hydroxides of Al, Y and Zr in a polyethylenimine (PEI) matrix were prepared by novel electrochemical method based on cathodic electrosynthesis of inorganic nanoparticles and cataphoretic deposition of PEI.

Organic/Inorganic Imide Nanocomposites from Aminophenylsilsesquioxanes
Chemistry of Materials, 2003We present here part of an ongoing study on structure−processing−property relationships in cubic silsesquioxane (cube) nanocomposites. Here, we focus on imide nanocomposites prepared from octaaminophenylsilsesquioxane (OAPS) as a model nanobuilding block for rigid, high-temperature hybrid nanocomposite materials. OAPS units are linked NH2 vertex to NH2

Organic–inorganic perovskites for magnetic nanocomposites
Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2002Abstract Two-dimensional perovskite compounds of the (CnH2n+1NH3)2MnCl4 (n=2, 9) type have been synthesised by a solid-state chemistry route in order to act as the building blocks for organic–inorganic magnetic nanocomposite materials. Depending on the amine chain length, the corresponding interlayer lattice expansion was probed by powder X-ray ...

Organic-inorganic nanocomposites synthesized viaminiemulsion polymerization
Polym. Chem., 2011Miniemulsion polymerization, a kind of heterogeneous polymerization method, is being more and more used for synthesis of various novel organic-inorganic hybrid materials. In this review, we would seek to highlight the recent development of organic-inorganic nanocomposites synthesized viaminiemulsion polymerization.

Photochromic Organic-Inorganic Nanocomposites as Holographic Storage Media
Advanced Materials for Optics and Electronics, 1997This paper describes the properties of some new organic-inorganic photochromic layers. They are based on a hybrid organic-inorganic matrix in which tungsten heteropolyoxometallates (SiW12O404-, PW12O403-) are entrapped in a network obtained from the reaction of 3-glycidoxy-propyltrimethoxysilane. The high homogeneity of these materials on the nanoscale

Electrophoretic deposition of organic–inorganic nanocomposites
Journal of Materials Science, 2006The focus of this review is on a new class of nanocomposites containing inorganic nanoparticles in a polyelectrolyte matrix. The recent advances in the application of electrophoretic deposition for the fabrication of the nanocomposite films are reviewed.
