Organic inorganic interfaces for applications in organic electronics

open access: yes, 2005

Statistical analysis of interatomic transfer integrals for exploring high-mobility organic semiconductors

open access: yesScience and Technology of Advanced Materials
Charge transport in organic semiconductors occurs via overlapping molecular orbitals quantified by transfer integrals. However, no statistical study of transfer integrals for a wide variety of molecules has been reported.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Rethinking organic electrochemical transistor modeling: the critical role of volumetric capacitance in predictive 2D Nernst-Planck-Poisson simulations

open access: yesnpj Flexible Electronics
Organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) combine electron/ionic transport with organic semiconductor flexibility to connect biology and electronics. As they approach industrial use, optimizing performance requires accurate modeling of their structure.

Near‐Infrared Emitting Lanthanide Catecholate Giant Single Crystals – Morphology Control and Photon Down‐Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.
