Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.

Synthesis and optoelectronic properties of an anthracene derivative

open access: yesMicro and Nano Systems Letters, 2023
An asymmetric a-side alkyl chain anthracene derivative 6-(4 (-2 Ethyl Octyl) Phenyl) 2Phenyl Anthracene (EOPPA) was designed based on a π-electron skeleton with a side alkyl chain of anthracene core molecule.

Controlling charge injection in organic field-effect transistors using self-assembled monolayers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We have studied charge injection across the metal/organic semiconductor interface in bottom-contact poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) field-effect transistors, with Au source and drain electrodes modified by self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) prior to active ...

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

Synthesis of C60 Fullerene Hexakis Adducts Based on Strained Polycyclic Hydrocarbons and Their Application in Organic Electronics

open access: yesChemistry Proceedings, 2023
Using the Bingel–Hirsch reaction, new hexakis methanofullerenes containing strained polycyclic hydrocarbons were synthesized. Organic field-effect transistors were manufactured based on the obtained compounds.

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Bio‐Inspired Molecular Events in Poly(Ionic Liquids)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Originating from dipolar and polar inter‐ and intra‐chain interactions of the building blocks, the topologies and morphologies of poly(ionic liquids) (PIL) govern their nano‐ and micro‐processibility. Modulating the interactions of cation‐anion pairs with aliphatic dipolar components enables the tunability of properties, facilitated by “bottom‐up ...
