Insecticides outweigh rye cover crop in triggering secondary pest outbreaks. Zeus Mateos‐Fierro*, Ashley Leach, Ian Kaplan. Spider mite and melon aphid outbreaks are enhanced with broad‐spectrum insecticides, while natural enemies are reduced.
