USE OF A RAT MODEL TO ELUDICATE IMPACT OF ORGANIC FOOD ON HEALTH [PDF]
Ingredients (potatoes, carrots, peas, green kale, apples, and rapeseed oil) were grown according to three different cultivation systems (“Organic”, low input of fertilizer without pesticides; “Minimally fertil-ised”, low input of fertilizer and high ...

Effect of Laser Deoxidation on Adhesive‐Bonded Aluminum in an Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere
This study investigates laser ablation of aluminum under oxygen‐free conditions. The goal is to produce oxide‐free substrates that enable improved adhesive bonding with epoxy. Optimized laser parameters (90% overlap, 300 µJ) combined with oxide‐free substrates result in the highest tensile strength of the adhesive bond.

Terrestrial inputs boost organic carbon accumulation in Mexican mangroves
Despite their ability to mitigate climate change by efficiently absorbing atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) and acting as natural long-term carbon sinks, mangrove ecosystems have faced several anthropogenic threats over the past century, resulting in a decline in the global mangrove cover.

The subject of this work is the development of a corrosion‐protective coating on steel sheets for form hardening. Rapid heating in an extreme high vacuum (XHV)‐adequate atmosphere is a useful method to prevent oxidation during alloying of 22MnB5 and aluminum to obtain a metallurgical bonding.

Is the promotion of organic farming the most cost efficient way of achieving environmental goals? A Danish Case story [PDF]
This paper explores the development of an agricultural specific input-output table that explicitly includes organic farming. The table is used in an Applied General Equilibrium (AGE) model of the Danish economy to analyse four different scenarios for the

Collagen hydrolysate is evaluated as a sustainable binder for MgO‐C refractories. Its thermally induced cross‐linking and gas release lead to expansion and cracking in large bricks, but tailored batches with lignin, recyclates, or fine graphite improve the gas release while thermal treatment and stability.

Integrating willow-based bioenergy and organic dairy production – the role of tree fodder for feed supplementation [PDF]
Silvopastoral systems that combine livestock and trees offer two main advantages for the animals. First, trees modify microclimatic conditions which can have beneficial effects on pasture growth and animal welfare.
