In this chapter, materials that constitute phosphorescent OLED (PHOLED) are discussed. Especially, it is described that dopant and host materials used in an emitting layer such as the phosphorescent triscyclometalated iridium (III) complexes and host materials to confine excitation energy of the triplet excitons.
