Hot-carriers in organic photovoltaics

open access: yesPure and Applied Chemistry, 2021
Abstract Photogenerated charge carriers in organic photovoltaics (OPVs) suffer relaxation and recombination losses. However, extracting these carriers at higher energy (‘Hot-carriers’) has been found to be effective to overcome such loss pathways and improve efficiency of OPVs.

Efficient Ambient‐All‐Laser‐Annealed Wide Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
First demonstration of ambient laser annealing for both self‐assembly monolayer type hole transport layer and high bandgap (1.80eV) perovskite solar cells. First 3D modeling of macroscopic and localized temperature profiles revealed the advantage of laser annealing for temperature‐sensitive substrates.

Ultrafast Charge Separation in Low Band-Gap Polymer Blend for Photovoltaics

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2013
We track ultrafast charge dissociation in a particularly promising low-band-gap- polymer:fullerene blend for organic photovoltaics. Impulsive photoexcitation with excess energy leads to a 30-fs formation of an hot charge transfer state, precursor of free
