Comparation on R245fa, R1233zd, R141b for Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC)
2018 Conference on Power Engineering and Renewable Energy (ICPERE), 2018Indonesia’s largest source of power generation comes from steam power plant. This paper discusses Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) as an alternative for steam power plant system design. ORC has Rankine Cycle as a cycle but use organic working fluid as a replacement for water. Majority, ORC’s manufacturer use R245fa as working fluid.

Operation optimization of an organic rankine cycle (ORC) heat recovery power plant
Applied Thermal Engineering, 2011This paper presents a detailed analysis of an organic rankine cycle (ORC) heat recovery power plant using R134a as working fluid. Mathematical models for the expander, evaporator, air cooled condenser and pump are developed to evaluate and optimize the plant performance. Computer programs are developed based on proposed models and algorithms.
