Graphene/Organic Semiconductor Heterojunction Phototransistors with Broadband and Bi‐directional Photoresponse

Advances in Materials, 2018
A graphene–semiconductor heterojunction is very attractive for realizing highly sensitive phototransistors due to the strong absorption of the semiconductor layer and the fast charge transport in the graphene.

Thienoacene‐Based Organic Semiconductors

Advanced Materials, 2011
AbstractThienoacenes consist of fused thiophene rings in a ladder‐type molecular structure and have been intensively studied as potential organic semiconductors for organic field‐effect transistors (OFETs) in the last decade. They are reviewed here. Despite their simple and similar molecular structures, the hitherto reported properties of thienoacene ...

Organic Semiconductors

Physics Today, 1961
In modern science and technology it is not unusual for a research activity to involve more than one scientific discipline. Among the newer research endeavors, perhaps none demonstrates such a dual character more clearly than the field of organic semiconductors, which deeply involves both semiconductor physics and organic chemistry.

Glassy phases in organic semiconductors

Current Opinion in Solid State and Materials Science, 2018
Organic semiconductors may be processed from fluids using graphical arts printing and patterning techniques to create complex circuitry. Because organic semiconductors are weak van der Waals solids, the creation of glassy phases during processing is quite common.

Organic semiconductors for artificial vision

Journal of Materials Chemistry B, 2013
Organic semiconductors have emerged in the past two decades as promising materials for many technological applications. Thanks to their unique optoelectronic properties, they represent an ideal system to mimic natural photoreceptor functioning. This similarity has been exploited, on one hand, to realize organic-based devices for image detection, taking

Organic semiconductor photocapacitive detectors

2007 9th International Symposium on Signal Processing and Its Applications, 2007
In this study, the photocapacitive behavior of organic semiconductor, photosensitive material, poly-N-epoxypropylcarbazole (PEPC) doped with tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) and copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) were investigated. A sandwich type CG/PEPC-TCNQ/Al photocapacitive detector was fabricated by screen printing technology.
