Improving the photovoltaic response of a poly(3-octylthiophene)/n-Si heterojunction by incorporating double-walled carbon nanotubes [PDF]
Poly(3-octylthiophene)/n-Si heterojunction solar cells were studied with and without incorporation of double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWCNs) in the polymer layer. The performance of the device improves significantly by the incorporation of DWCNs.

A new domino reaction between thioaurones and malononitrile has been reported. This reaction allows efficient access to benzothiophene-fused pyran derivatives in good yields under mild reaction conditions.

Biochar enhances the remediation of fluorene and Cd(II) co-contamination by Burkholderia sp. FM-2
This study investigated the fluorene degradation ability and metabolic pathway of Burkholderia sp. FM-2. The FM-2 demonstrated a 72.16 % degradation rate of 300 mg/L fluorene over a period of three days.
