Synthesis of Tissues and Organs
ChemBioChem, 2003AbstractSymbolism that describes the synthetic processes for chemical compounds has been used to describe, in qualitative terms, the synthesis of tissues and organs at the correct anatomical site. The synthetic process is summarized in the reaction diagram, a shorthand representation of the reactants, reactor, and products.

Synthesis and Transformations of Nitrones for Organic Synthesis
Chemical Reviews, 2019Nitrones are important compounds and are highly useful in many aspects. The first part describes the methods for synthesis of nitrones, which are useful and environmentally friendly. Catalytic oxidations, condensations, and other useful reactions are described. The nitrones thus obtained are key intermediates for the synthesis of biologically important

Organic Synthesis − Art or Science?
Journal of Chemical Information and Computer Sciences, 2004The LHASA rules for finding strategic bonds in polycyclic target structures are analyzed with respect to the following question: Do the strategic bonds tend to give the greatest simplification upon disconnection, as measured by recently introduced indices of molecular complexity? The answer is yes, at least for the more general rules.

Organic Synthesis by Quench Reactions
Origins of Life, 1974The effects of chemical quench reactions on the formation of organic compounds at a water surface under simulated primordial earth conditions were investigated for the study of chemical evolution. A mixture of gaseous methane and ammonia over a water surface was exposed to an arc discharge between an electrode and the water surface.

Electrophotocatalysis for Organic Synthesis
Chemical ReviewsElectrocatalysis and photocatalysis have been the focus of extensive research efforts in organic synthesis in recent decades, and these powerful strategies have provided a wealth of new methods to construct complex molecules. Despite these intense efforts, only recently has there been a significant focus on the combined use of these two modalities ...
