Disilyl dithiophosphonates in the synthesis of open chain and cyclic organothiophosphorus compounds [PDF]

open access: yesHeteroatom Chemistry, 2004
AbstractO‐(Trimethylsiloxy)alkyl S‐trimethylsilyl aryldithiophosphonates 7a–d were obtained by the reaction of 2,4‐diaryl‐1,3,2,4‐dithiadiphosphetane‐2,4‐disulfides 5a,b with disilyl derivatives of glycols 6a,c and salicyl alcohol 6b. The reactions of mixed O,S‐bis(trimethylsilyl) 2,4‐di(3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐4‐hydroxyphenyl)dithiophosphonate 1 and S‐silyl

Organothiophosphorus compounds as inductors of the iodine—azide reaction. Analytical application

open access: yesTalanta, 1994
Thiophosphoryl compounds were found to exhibit strong induction activity in the iodine-azide reaction. On this basis three procedures for their determination: titrimetric (0.15-1 mumol), coulometric (1-20 nmol) and spectrophotometric (0.5-5 nmol) have been developed. RSD in all applied methods (techniques) have been found at the 1-7% level.

Role of Environmental Chemicals in Obesity: A Systematic Review on the Current Evidence

open access: yesJournal of Environmental and Public Health, Volume 2013, Issue 1, 2013., 2013
The purpose of this paper is to systematically review the experimental and human studies on obesogenic chemicals and their mechanisms of action to provide a comprehensive view on the multifactorial aspects of obesity. The literatures were searched in available databases. The relevant papers were selected in three phases.

Lyophilization: a useful approach to the automation of analytical processes?

open access: yesJournal of Analytical Methods in Chemistry, Volume 12, Issue 6, Page 267-279, 1990., 1990
An overview of the state‐of‐the‐art in the use of lyophilization for the pretreatment of samples and standards prior to their storage and/or preconcentration is presented. The different analytical applications of this process are dealt with according to the type of material (reagent, standard, samples) and matrix involved.

Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Organothiophosphorus Compounds: X‐ray Crystal Structure of H3COC6H4P(OC2H4S)(S) Synthesized by a New Method

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, 2006
AbstractReactions of 2,4‐bis(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐1,3,2,4‐dithiadiphosphetane‐2,4‐disulfide with hydroxy substituted compounds (R‐OH) gave rise to the formation of dithiophosphonate compounds 2, 3 and 4 [R‐OH: N‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)‐phthalimide, 1‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)pyridine and 2‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)pyrrolidine].
