NEORIBATES AURANTIACUS IN JAPAN (ACARIDA: ORIBATIDA)
I described Neoribates rimosus as a new species in 1978, having stated that Japanese neoribatid species which were recorded in that time could be listed as N. aurantiacus and N. macrosacculatus.As a result of adjustment in the present study, it is revealed that Neoribates aurantiacus sensu AOKI, 1966 is the synonym of N. roubali (BERLESE, 1910).
