Erythrolamprus miliaris orinus (Reptilia, Squamata, Dipsadidae): tentativas de predação de Boana faber e Leptodactylus latrans

open access: yesBoletim do Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi - Ciências Naturais, 2018

Song in two cryptic species: comparative analysis of Large-billed Reed Warblers Acrocephalus orinus and Blyth’s Reed Warblers Acrocephalus dumetorum

open access: yesBird Study, 2016
Capsule: Songs of Large-billed Reed Warblers Acrocephalus orinus and Blyth’s Reed Warblers Acrocephalus dumetorum differed in quantitative parameters. Blyth’s Reed Warbler used different modes of singing on breeding grounds and migration stopovers. Aims: To compare the songs of two cryptic species of reed warblers. To compare Blyth’s Reed Warbler songs

Characterization and phylogenetic analysis of the complete chloroplast genome of Orinus thoroldii (Poaceae)

Conservation Genetics Resources, 2017
Orinus thoroldii is an important alpine grass endemic to the western Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China, which has high ecological and genetic values. Here, we first assembled the complete chloroplast (cp) genome of O. thoroldii based on sequences from Illumina HiSeq4000 platform. We obtained the cp genome with the total length of 134,205 bp.

A New Species of Orinus (Poaceae) from Qinghai, China

Novon, 2008
A new species of Orinus Hitchcock, O. alticulmus L. B. Cai & Tong Lin Zhang, is described and illustrated. This species is endemic to Qinghai province, China, occurring at altitudes of 2450-2600 m on sandy soils. It resembles O. kokonorica (K. S. Hao) Tzvelev, but differs from that species by its slightly effuse panicles, longer spikelets usually with ...

Development of Novel Low-Copy Nuclear Gene Primers by Transcriptomes in an Endemic Genus Orinus Hitchc. (Poaceae) from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Cytology and Genetics, 2019
In the present study, a total of eleven low-copy nuclear gene markers were developed using transcriptomes for the plant genus Orinus Hitchc. (Poaceae), which comprises three species of grasses widely distributed in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. These developed markers were successfully amplified and sequenced for 90 individuals from nine populations of ...

Characterization of the Complete Chloroplast Genome of an Endemic Perennial Grass Orinus intermedius and Its Phylogenetic Analysis in Poaceae

Cytology and Genetics, 2019
Orinus intermedius is an endemic perennial species occurring exclusively in the southeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP). It has particularly important ecological and genetic values, and some of its morphological characters are between O. thoroldii and O. kokonoricus.

Distributions and hydrogen isotopic compositions of plant leaf wax from Orinus kokonorica along a general aridity gradient around Lake Qinghai, China

Diqiu Huaxue, 2014
To quantitatively analyze the response of distributions and hydrogen isotopic compositions (δD) of plant leaf wax to moisture, and to better understand their implications for paleoclimatic reconstruction, we measured average chain length (ACL) and δD values of n-alkanes and n-fatty acids (n-FAs) from Orinus kokonorica, a typical and representative ...
