Summary The various causes of oro-antral fistul˦ are explained. The condition is in the great majority of cases of dental origin and results in an associated maxillary sinusitis of variable degree. An operation is described which has given uniformly satisfactory results in twenty-one cases.

Styphlus oros (REITTER, 1889) (Fig. 11) and S. penicillus SCHöNHERR, 1826. S. penicillus was beaten during the night from the Reichardia cf. picroides (Asteraceae) at a beach. Bayer & al. (2007) reported on finds of the similar S. jonicus (Reitter, 1899) from an undetermined Asteraceae, but also from numerous finds on Fabaceae.
