Biocontrol Science and Technology, 1999A survey of pathogens of the root-parasitic weed Orobanche aegyptiaca Pers. was carried out in Nepal. More than 70% of the fungal strains isolated from infected plants belonged to the genus Fusarium. Other fungi isolated were Acremonium fusidioides, Alternaria alternata, Cladosporium cladosporioides, Epicoccum nigrum, Mortierella alpina, Papulaspora sp.
