A comprehensive study on the effect of oxygen limitation (hypoxia) on the production of recombinant proteins with the yeast Komagataella phaffii is presented in this study. The combined effect of specific growth rate and oxygen limitation on the production of recombinant Candida rugosa lipase 1 (Crl1) is analysed.
