Summary: In this paper, by using the orthogonal decompositions of projection matrices, a new general approach is proposed to construct asymmetrical OAs, namely array subtraction, the operation of which is not the usual subtraction but it is interesting since many so called atoms of asymmetrical OAs can be obtained by the array subtraction.
