Optimal control design for linear - invariant linear singular systems with time using orthogonal functions [PDF]
The problem of solving optimal control of Singular problems in the classic method has a complexity that is solved by approximation of the equations in the problem with orthogonal bases instead of solving the dynamic equation system of a set of static ...

Effect of different basis functions on the LSM pricing of American option
American option allows an option holder to exercise the option at any time before the expiration of option. Thus it is impossible to price it by the B-S formula. Numerical methods are usually applied to price an American option.

Krylov complexity and orthogonal polynomials
Krylov complexity measures operator growth with respect to a basis, which is adapted to the Heisenberg time evolution. The construction of that basis relies on the Lanczos algorithm, also known as the recursion method.

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

A Robust Orthogonal Adaptive Approach to SISO Deconvolution
This paper formulates in a common framework some results from the fields of robust filtering, function approximation with orthogonal basis, and adaptive filtering, and applies them for the design of a general deconvolution processor for SISO systems ...

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation
