Utilizing Stable Gene‐Edited Knockout Pools for Genetic Screening and Engineering in Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells

open access: yesBiotechnology Journal, Volume 20, Issue 5, May 2025.
Graphical Abstract and Lay Summary A pooled CRISPR knockout (KO) workflow enables high‐throughput genetic KO screening in CHO cells without the need for clonal isolation. KO pools remain genetically stable in both singleplex and multiplex formats and are able to reproduce phenotypic KO effects from isolated clones.
