Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)

2008 China-Japan Joint Microwave Conference, 2008
In broadband wireless system, the signal energy is scattered and reflected from objects in the environment, components of the signal arriving at the receiver are spread out over a longer period of time than is desirable. The challenge is then to provide a high-performance reliable data link that can operate with the restricted receiver power levels ...

Interference mitigation in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)

Proceedings of ICUPC - 5th International Conference on Universal Personal Communications, 2002
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a modulation scheme purported to be insensitive to the multipath effects of a mobile communication channel as well as exhibiting immunity to narrow-band interference via hole punching in the OFDM spectrum.

Novel Unipolar Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (U-OFDM) for Optical Wireless

2012 IEEE 75th Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC Spring), 2012
A novel modulation technique coined U-OFDM is proposed. U-OFDM uses different time sample states and an innovative rearrangement of the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) frame which allow for the creation of unipolar OFDM signals required for Optical Wireless Communication (OWC) with Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs).

Analysis of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology in wireless communication process

2016 10th IEEE International Conference on Anti-counterfeiting, Security, and Identification (ASID), 2016
The rapid development of wireless communication technologye provide users with more convenience but also accompanied serious interference problem in wireless communication. Resolution of interference problem become much important for communication process.

Layered Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing With Index Modulation

IEEE Systems Journal, 2019
In this paper, we propose a novel scheme termed layered orthogonal frequency division multiplexing with index modulation (L-OFDM-IM) to increase the spectral efficiency (SE) of OFDM-IM systems.

Frequency domain iq imbalance correction scheme for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems

2003 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking, 2003. WCNC 2003., 2005
Future, high bit rate communication systems tolerate very little error in the modulation. This means that conventionally negligible error sources like the imbalance between the in-phase (I) and quadrature (Q) branches of the receiver can start limiting the performance of the system.
