Coherent Optical Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing
Coherent Optical Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing. Coherent optical orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (CO-OFDM) incorporates the benefits of OFDM to compensate for distortion and monitor the channel conditions in long-haul optical ...

Adaptive Modulation Techniques for Duplex OFDM Transmission
The design tradeoffs of turbo-coded burst-by-burst adaptive orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) wide-band transceivers are analyzed. We demonstrate that upon aiming for a higher throughput a higher proportion of low-quality OFDM subcarriers ...

Evaluating integrative strategies for incorporating phenotypic features in spatial transcriptomics
Abstract The key advantage of spatial transcriptomics (ST) technologies lies in the spatial domain: these techniques not only offer an unprecedented opportunity to interrogate intact biological samples in a spatially informed manner, but also set the stage for integration with other imaging‐based modalities.

Minimum Bit Error Rate Multiuser Detection in Multiple Antenna Aided OFDM
In this contribution, we propose a Minimum Bit Error Rate (MBER) multiuser detector for Space Division Multiple Access (SDMA) aided Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems. It is shown that the MBER detector outperforms the Minimum Mean

Characterisation of human hair follicle development
Schematic of hair follicle development in human skin. Hair follicle primordia of similar sizes, but different densities, are laid out across the skin. The distinction between terminal and vellus hair sites is not obvious at early stages of hair follicle development.

BER performance study of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) [PDF]
A mobile radio channel is characterized by a multipath fading environment. The signal is offered to the receiver contains not only line of sight of radio wave, but also a large number of reflected radio waves that arrive at the receiver at different ...

Mass Spectrometry Structural Proteomics Enabled by Limited Proteolysis and Cross‐Linking
ABSTRACT The exploration of protein structure and function stands at the forefront of life science and represents an ever‐expanding focus in the development of proteomics. As mass spectrometry (MS) offers readout of protein conformational changes at both the protein and peptide levels, MS‐based structural proteomics is making significant strides in the

We developed a novel chemical strategy to generate a glypican‐3 × SIRP‐α bispecific antibody that simultaneously blocks the CD47 “don't eat me” signal, engages macrophages to target liver cancer cells for enhanced phagocytosis, and antigen presentation. This novel combination of targets demonstrates remarkable efficacy in vitro and in vivo.
