Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)
2008 China-Japan Joint Microwave Conference, 2008In broadband wireless system, the signal energy is scattered and reflected from objects in the environment, components of the signal arriving at the receiver are spread out over a longer period of time than is desirable. The challenge is then to provide a high-performance reliable data link that can operate with the restricted receiver power levels ...

Multi rate orthogonal frequency division multiplexing
IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2005. ICC 2005. 2005, 2005A novel multi rate orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system is proposed in this paper. It is expected to provide a flexible physical layer support to next generation wireless networks. It is mainly suited to inter carrier interference limited situations, when a large number of sub carriers are used within the available bandwidth ...

Optical-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-review
2017 IEEE International Conference on Power, Control, Signals and Instrumentation Engineering (ICPCSI), 2017We have witnessed a drastic increase in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) in optical community in recent years. OFDM is a type of signal modulation. OFDM divides high data rate modulating stream into many slow modulated narrowband subcarriers. Thus, it is less sensitive to frequency fading.
