A Lattice-Partition Framework of Downlink Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access without SIC
GLOBECOM 2017 - 2017 IEEE Global Communications Conference, 2017In this paper, downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) with receivers performing single- user decoding i.e., without successive interference cancellation (SIC) is studied. Using lattice partitions, we generalize the scheme recently proposed by Shieh and Huang [1] to general n-dimensional constellations carved from lattices.

Efficient Orthogonal Multi-view Subspace Clustering
Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, 2022Multi-view subspace clustering targets at clustering data lying in a union of low-dimensional subspaces. Generally, an n X n affinity graph is constructed, on which spectral clustering is then performed to achieve the final clustering.

Multi-View Clustering via Nonnegative and Orthogonal Graph Reconstruction
IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, 2021The goal of multi-view clustering is to partition samples into different subsets according to their diverse features. Previous multi-view clustering methods mainly exist two forms: multi-view spectral clustering and multi-view matrix factorization ...

Partition-based RIS-assisted Multiple Access: NOMA Decoding Order Perspective
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2022In this correspondence, we propose a closed-form resource allocation called partition-based multiple access (MA), which simultaneously utilizes both a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) to reduce processing

Binary space partitions of orthogonal subdivisions
Proceedings of the twentieth annual symposium on Computational geometry, 2004Summary: We consider the problem of constructing Binary Space Partitions (BSPs) for orthogonal subdivisions (space-filling packings of boxes) in \(d\)-space. We show that a subdivision with \(n\) boxes can be refined into a BSP of size \(O(n^{(d+1)/{3}})\) for all \(d \geq 3\) and that such a partition can be computed in time \({O(K\log n)}\), where ...

A study of orthogonal array-based designs under a broad class of space-filling criteria
Annals of Statistics, 2022Space-filling designs based on orthogonal arrays are attractive for computer experiments for they can be easily generated with desirable low-dimensional stratification properties.

Variation partitioning involving orthogonal spatial eigenfunction submodels
Ecology, 2012When partitioning the variation of univariate or multivariate ecological data with respect to several submodels of spatial eigenfunctions (e.g., Moran's eigenvector maps, MEM) acting as explanatory data, a problem occurs: although the submodels are constructed to be orthogonal to one another, the partitioning based on adjusted R2 statistics produces ...

A New Image Compression Algorithm Based on Non-Uniform Partition and U-System
IEEE transactions on multimedia, 2021JPEG lossy image compression is a still image compression algorithm model that is currently widely used in major network media. However, it is unsatisfactory in the quality of compressed images at low bit rates.

Lattice-Partition-Based Downlink Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access Without SIC for Slow Fading Channels
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 2019In this paper, the problem of downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) over slow fading channels is studied. Full-channel state information (CSI) is assumed at the receivers, while only the statistical CSI is assumed to be available at the ...
