Dual‐Gene Edited Extracellular Vesicles Remodel the Redox Homeostasis to Inhibit Ferroptosis in Intervertebral Disc Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) is driven by ferroptosis of nucleus pulposus cells (NPCs) as a core pathological mechanism. Nucleus pulposus progenitor cells (NPPCs), exhibiting stem cell‐like properties, yield extracellular vesicles (PEVs) with high affinity for NPCs and enable targeted phenotypic regulation.

Restoration of m6A‐Modified circPSMB1 Suppresses Chordoma Progression and Enables Local Nanotherapeutic Intervention

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An m6A‐modified circRNA, circPSMB1, is identified as a tumor suppressor in chordoma. METTL3‐dependent m6A promotes circPSMB1 interaction with HNRNPA2B1, limiting c‐MYC expression and malignant progression. An injectable HMnO2‐based nanohydrogel enables local circPSMB1 delivery and tumor microenvironment‐responsive therapy, offering a promising strategy

Force‐Electric Nanotentacles of Tantalum Implant Accelerate Cellular Energy Metabolism/Crosstalk for Immunomodulation‐Vascularized Bone Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A biomimetic force‐electric nanotentacle‐enabled tantalum (Ta) implant with surface‐nanostructured LiTaO3 (n‐LiTaO3) was first developed via laser nanofabrication combined with Li+‐induced in situ reaction, enabling the transduction of ultrasound into bioelectrical cues.

An Injectable Metal‐Drug Supramolecular Condensate Enables Radiosensitization and Systemic Antitumor Immunity for Post‐Surgical Osteosarcoma Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work designed an injectable metal‐drug supramolecular condensate formed from hafnium ions and alendronate (Hf‐ALN) and loaded with the COX‐2 inhibitor celecoxib (CXB) for synergistic radioimmunotherapy of postoperative osteosarcoma. Mechanistically, upon X‐ray irradiation, Hf enhances radiation energy deposition, ROS generation, and DNA damage ...

Sound‐Based Assembly of Magnetically Actuated Soft Robots Toward Enhanced Release of Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
Magnetic soft robots offer promise in biomedicine due to their wireless actuation and rapid response, but current fabrication methods are complex and have limited cellular compatibility. A new, contactless bioassembly strategy using hydrodynamic instabilities is introduced, enabling customizable, centimeter‐scale robots.
