Abstract Scrotal exteriorisation of abdominal viscera is rarely reported in domestic rabbits and constitutes a surgical emergency. This report describes traumatic inguinoscrotal herniation of the urinary bladder in a domestic rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), a 4‐month‐old entire male, following bite‐induced scrotal avulsion during territorial aggression.

Abstract Ovarian remnant syndrome results from the persistence of functional ovarian tissue after incomplete ovariectomy. While documented in dogs, cats and ferrets, it has not been previously reported in rabbits. This case describes a 1‐year‐old, spayed, female lop rabbit with persistent sexual behaviour. Physical exam and bloodwork were unremarkable.
