Effect of Localized Heating on Three-Dimensional Flat-Plate Oscillating Heat Pipe
An experimental investigation was conducted, both thermally and visually, on a three-dimensional flat-plate oscillating heat pipe (3D FP-OHP) to characterize its performance under localized heat fluxes while operating in the bottom heating mode and ...

Stability of Viscous Three‐Dimensional Stratified Couette Flow via Dispersion and Mixing
ABSTRACT This article explores the stability of stratified Couette flow in the viscous 3d$3d$ Boussinesq equations. In this system, mixing effects arise from the shearing background, and gravity acts as a restoring force leading to dispersive internal gravity waves.

An assessment of stress and production rate of sucker rod heat pipes in oil well pumping system
The sucker rod pumping system is the preferred oil extraction technique. The concept about equipping the hollow vacuum space in solid sucker rods with heat pipe has been scrutinized in terms of stress and oil production evaluation. Abstract The implementation of the heat pipe concept in sucker rods for oil pumping systems negates the requirement for an

Aluminum‐enhanced afterburning renders AE explosives more hazardous than conventional ones. Corrugated steel linings reduce far‐field AE blast overpressure by ~50% through wave reflection and dissipation. The developed model accurately predicts peak pressure (<10% error) and arrival time (<3% error), supporting protective design.

Study on Oscillating Heat Pipes : Application for Cooling Notebook PCs [PDF]
This paper describes a developmental study on flexible oscillating heat pipes for cooling notebook personal computers. The heat pipe functions to transport heat from the CPU to the rear surface of the folding display, which serves as a radiating surface.

This paper presents a hydrate pressure core processing device integrated with a high‐precision active control system to perform nondestructive transfer, cutting, and analysis. To address the limitations of slow dynamic response and high thermal inertia in traditional passive systems, a differentiated control scheme is implemented.

The Green Amphoteric Surfactant Derived From Rapeseed Oil for Enhanced Oil Recovery From Carbonate Acidic Oil Reservoirs. ABSTRACT Surfactants with both positive and negative functional groups (amphoteric or zwitterionic) are particularly advantageous in acidic oil reservoirs because they remain stable under harsh chemical conditions, tolerate acidic ...
